Surroundings

On the border of the Gers and the Tarn et Garonne, in the south west of France, you will find Lavit. It is a rural village in the middle of the hills of the Lomagne. Lavit is a village with 1600 inhabitants. From Quillot you will get to Lavit very quickly (1.8 km). In Lavit you will find a supermarket (including butcher), a bakery, a doctor, a pharmacy and a restaurant/café “Le Vic de Lomagne”. Every Friday you will find a small market in the village. During summer there are so called Marches Gourmands where you can stroll around, sit down at long tables and enjoy local specialties.  

Lavit is 1150km from Utrecht and you can easily reach it by car. The international airport of Toulouse is 55km away from Lavit and the TGV stops in Agen, which is 38km from Quillot. 

In the immediate surrounding of Quillot you will find several characteristic French villages. Examples are: Auvillar, Lectoure, Moissac and Fleurance with their own local markets, many restaurants, nice outdoor places to have drinks and different sightseeing places. 

The cities Toulouse, Agen, Auch and Montauban can be reached within one hour from Quillot. Here you can shop, eat and drink, visit museums and enjoy the beautiful city areas. 

Lomagne offers something for everyone. Long walking routes, beautiful bicycle tours, markets with local product, boat- or canoe tours on the Garonne or you can visit a beautiful French chateau. Of course you can also decide to stay on the domain of Quillot and simply enjoy the swimming pool.
