GENERAL CONDITIONS QUILLOT-LAVIT


1. After confirming the booking, the landlord (Nicole and Michel Koppen) and tenant agree on a short-term stay for the gite/holiday home Grand and/or Petit QUILLOT at the following address: Domaine Quillot, 1865 Route du Castéron, 82120 LAVIT, France .

2. The condition in which the gite/holiday home is currently offered is as shown on the website. The photos shown on the website are the photos of the gite/holiday home.

3. The rental period for the short-term stay agreed between the tenant and the landlord is the period stated in the booking confirmation.

4. The tenant can enter the home from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and leaves the home no later than 10:00 AM on the departure date. The landlord provides a set of keys to the gite/holiday home and the tenant leaves the keys in the gite/holiday home on the day of departure.

5. It has been agreed that the tenant will not pay a deposit to the landlord. In the event of damage, any repair or replacement costs will be recovered from the tenant. The landlord will report any damage, repair costs or replacement costs to the tenant by email within 48 hours of departure. The costs incurred must be paid by the tenant within 8 days into a bank account to be specified by the landlord.

6. If you cancel up to 4 weeks before arrival, the tenant does not owe any cancellation costs. If you cancel between 4 and 2 weeks before arrival, the tenant owes 50% cancellation costs of the total rental amount. If you cancel within 2 weeks before arrival, the tenant owes 100% cancellation costs of the total rental amount. If it is not possible to travel and stay in France due to COVID or in the event of negative travel advice for France, the booking can be canceled at any time free of charge and payments already made will be refunded by the landlord to the tenant.

7. The total rent plus costs for final cleaning must be paid by the tenant no later than one month before arrival by bank transfer to the account NL40ABNA0494559772 (ABN-AMRO bank Netherlands) or FR7611206201850085080587311 (Credit Agricole France) in the name of P.J.M.M. Koppen.

8. The final cleaning takes place after the tenant's departure. If the property is unusually dirty after the tenant's departure, the tenant will be charged additional costs for final cleaning. The landlord will report any additional final cleaning costs to the tenant by email within 48 hours of departure. The costs incurred must be paid by the tenant within 8 days into a bank account to be specified by the landlord.

9. Bed linen, towels, bath towels and all normal household items required for the stay are provided by the landlord. The towels may not be used for anything other than household hygiene.

10. Electricity, heating, water and all (tourist) taxes are included in the rental price. The tenant must use electricity, water and heating responsibly (e.g. switch off lights and heating when absent).

11. The gite/holiday home can only be occupied by the group/number of people agreed with the landlord. Each additional person must have permission from the landlord to stay overnight (provided there is sleeping space).

12. Pets are only allowed after consultation. Bringing a pet will always be indicated in the booking confirmation. After permission from the landlord to bring a pet, the final cleaning costs will be increased by 50 euros. If a pet is allowed, he/she is not allowed in the sleeping areas, on the couch(es) or in the swimming pool.

13. The landlord has the right at all times to deny access to anyone and to terminate the agreement if it appears that the tenant is not occupying or using the gite/holiday home/swimming pool properly.

14. The landlord is not liable for theft or loss of valuables in the gite/holiday home or otherwise. Tenants are advised to store valuables safely or keep them with them. There is no insurance against loss and theft of personal property, only the coverage that the tenant has taken out with credit card, home insurance or travel insurance. In the event of theft or loss of valuables, the tenant will immediately inform the landlord.

15. The gite/holiday home is insured against fire, storm, water damage and other damage to the building. The tenant must immediately report damage to the gite/holiday home or its furnishings to the landlord.

16. The tenant is seen as a caretaker during his stay. The landlord is not liable for any damage caused to the tenant by structural defects in any form whatsoever.

17. Smoking in the gite/holiday home is not permitted.

18. The pool is protected with a certified pool deck. Children are not allowed to be in or near the swimming pool without the guidance and/or supervision of an adult. The landlord bears no responsibility in the event of accidents in or near the swimming pool.

19. The tenant confirms that he has read and agreed to these general terms and conditions. By confirming the booking, the tenant commits to the above general terms and conditions.
